XR LAB is an educational program designed to introduce participants to extended reality (XR) technologies—Virtual Reality (VR), immersive media, and AI-assisted 3D content creation. The program is prepared for the American Resource Center (ARC), Belgrade, and led by Nikola Stojanović, PhD, a university lecturer and expert in computer graphics, immersive technologies, and cultural digitization.
The core purpose of XR LAB is to connect technology, creativity, and cultural literacy. By teaching participants how to design and build their own interactive VR environments, the program serves as both technical training and a cultural learning experience. Throughout the course, participants create educational VR exhibitions inspired by U.S. culture, history, science, and innovation.
The program uses Unity 6 (LTS), AI-supported 3D asset creation tools, and the Meta Quest VR platform, combining them into a hands-on, project-based workflow appropriate for beginner-to-intermediate learners. It is structured as a 3-week program consisting of 6 sessions, each lasting approximately 110 minutes. The course blends theoretical foundations with extensive practical work, following a project-based learning model.
If you would like to be part of this experience, please submit a motivational letter to us by April 1, 2026.
