About the event:

ARC will work with the Serbian Gaming Association on an immersive year long program in creative game development designed for high school and students. The program will include panels, meetups, and workshops. In addition, this program will document proposed solutions for addressing game violence, feature jam to find UI/UX and game design solutions; white paper with guidelines for gaming companies, tailor-made educational workshops for high school students and professionals; start the SGA Empowers ambassador network, promote the mentorship program, networking events, and awards. Same as above, the program is to empower young creators in Serbia to develop innovative, cross-disciplinary skills fostering collaboration across fields. Another objective is to increase the employability of young creatives in Serbia and involve them into a flourishing creative industry and to strengthen ties between the United States and Serbia. Game development is a dynamic, rapidly growing industry, with creativity and technology at its core. By nurturing Serbia’s creative youth and guiding them through the game development process, Playing Narratives can lead to innovative new games and projects that have the potential to bring economic benefits. These games can gain global recognition, such as NORDEUS, thus positioning both Serbia and the U.S. as thought leaders in the tech and entertainment sectors, driving prosperity in both countries.
