About the event:

Experience one of America’s most cherished live music traditions. In a Nashville-style Songwriters Round, songwriters take turns performing original songs while sharing the stories and inspiration behind them. More intimate than a traditional concert, the format brings artists and audiences together through music, creativity, and storytelling.

American singer-songwriter Shanna Sharp joins Serbian artists Dea Džanković and Draga for a unique evening of cross-cultural musical exchange. Through songs and personal stories, the artists will explore the experiences, emotions, and connections that resonate across languages and cultures.

About the Artists:

Shanna Sharp

Shanna Sharp is an American singer-songwriter from New York City whose music blends indie folk rock with thoughtful storytelling and Americana influences. Her original work has been featured in television programming and received international radio airplay. Now based in Europe, she performs internationally, using music to foster creativity, connection, and cross-cultural understanding. Through songs that explore resilience, identity, and belonging, Shanna invites audiences into stories that are both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Dea Džanković

Dea Džanković is an interdisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, and cultural producer based in Belgrade, Serbia. Working across performance, installation, poetry, and music, her practice explores ritual, language, and the emotional landscapes of everyday life.

As a singer-songwriter, Dea creates intimate indie music that blends alternative rock sensibilities with subtle folk influences. Her songs move between vulnerability and quiet strength, weaving poetic storytelling with minimalist arrangements inspired by artists such as PJ Harvey, Mazzy Star, and Suzanne Vega. Through her music, she invites audiences into an atmosphere of closeness, reflection, and shared emotion.

Draga

Draga is a singer-songwriter from Negotin and Belgrade whose music is inspired by human connection, nature, and the spiritual realm. These influences are woven throughout her songs.

She believes that each song arrives first as a source of healing for herself before becoming something to share and celebrate with others. Through her melodies, she invites listeners into a sense of connection, community, and possibility.

At the heart of Draga’s artistry is a passion for joy, not as the absence of struggle, but as the courage to fully experience life in all its complexity. Her music offers hope, joy, and a safe space to embrace the full spectrum of human emotion.
