This is a practical learning program designed to help entrepreneurs, startup founders, business professionals, creators, athletes, and innovators better understand the legal frameworks that shape today’s economy. Through a series of interactive sessions and webinars, participants will explore key topics ranging from startup legal fundamentals and international business expansion to intellectual property, innovation, and emerging rights in the digital age.
Drawing on U.S. best practices and comparative legal perspectives, the program will examine what founders need to know when building and scaling a business, how foreign companies can successfully enter new markets, the role of intellectual property in the gaming and creative industries, and the lasting impact of innovators such as Nikola Tesla on modern patent systems. Participants will also gain insight into Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights in the United States and their growing relevance for athletes, creators, and public figures.
Across five sessions, attendees will gain practical knowledge that can help them protect their ideas, understand their rights, navigate legal challenges, and make informed decisions in their professional lives. The program is designed to make legal topics accessible and relevant, connecting theory with real-world examples and current industry trends.
By bringing together international perspectives and local expertise, the Legal Insight Series supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-border collaboration. The program reflects the American Resource Center’s commitment to empowering the next generation of Serbian founders, creators, and professionals while strengthening U.S.-Serbia ties through education, innovation, and the exchange of knowledge.
This program will be in Serbian language.
