About the program:

Participants will explore what makes an idea valuable, learn to apply Lean Startup methodology, and practice developing business models using Business Model Canvas. They also gain experience in market validation through low‑cost testing, simulate minimum viable products, and engage in team‑building exercises to understand leadership dynamics.  In addition, the program covers essential entrepreneurial skills such as financial literacy, marketing strategies, and customer acquisition. Participants create prototype landing pages, prepare pitches, and present their ideas in a final demo day, receiving constructive feedback from peers and mentors. This hands‑on approach ensures that each team develops at least one validated business model and builds confidence in presenting their ideas.

Modules – Goals – Activities include:

  • Innovation and Inspiration – Understanding what makes an idea worthwhile – through brainstorming and a case study.
  • From idea to a Business Model – Introduce participants with the Lean Startup Methodology – through teamwork through BMC.
  • Market Validation and Testing – Learn how to test an idea quickly and cost-effectively – through the paper simulation of an MVP.
  • Team and Leadership – Understanding the founder’s role and team dynamics – through the “Ideal Team” exercise.
  • Basic Financial Literacy – Understanding how a business sustains itself and grows – through a mini financial model.
  • Marketing and First Users – Learn how to acquire your first customers – through creation of a landing page prototype.
  • Pitch Simulation – Preparation for public presentation – by presenting your idea to a class.
  • Final Presentation – Closing demo day where every team presents their own idea.

Structured across eight sessions, each lasting 110 minutes, the program combines theory with practical exercises.
