Maternal and perinatal health remains a critical public health priority, requiring collaboration across disciplines, institutions, and communities. This conference brings together academic leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community stakeholders from Serbia and the United States to explore innovative approaches to supporting mothers, infants, and families.
Through the exchange of evidence-based practices and community-centered care models, participants will examine persistent challenges in maternal and perinatal health while identifying practical opportunities for collaboration. The conference will be delivered as a two-day hybrid event, scheduled in the afternoon in Serbia to align with morning hours in New Orleans, enabling real-time participation from both locations. Each day will begin with opening remarks from representatives of partner institutions, highlighting the conference’s collaborative vision and key themes.
The program will feature a series of short, dynamic presentations by invited experts, offering comparative perspectives on maternal and perinatal care in Serbia and the United States.
