About the program:

The Belgrade City Library Reading Circle is a monthly, facilitator-led reading and discussion program designed to bring literature, language learning, and cultural exchange together in a dynamic and welcoming environment.

Hosted by the American Resource Center (ARC) in collaboration with the resources of the Belgrade City Library, this program introduces participants to outstanding works of American literature and journalism while strengthening English-language skills through guided reading and thoughtful conversation.

Once a month, a special session of ARC’s Conversation Club transforms into an interactive reading circle. Participants read selected excerpts from American novels or magazines—either contemporary or classic—and take part in a moderated group discussion led by ARC coordinators. Each session encourages critical thinking, personal reflection, and open dialogue, creating space for participants to explore themes that resonate across cultures.

This event will be in English language.
