About the event:

The AfterLight Market is a vibrant gathering space for emerging artists, young creatives, and cultural practitioners. It addresses the need for stronger creative infrastructure, professional visibility, and collaboration within Serbia’s artistic community. Drawing inspiration from American models of innovation, the Market fosters a sustainable ecosystem where creativity can flourish.

Young artists gain a professional platform to present visual art, design, handmade products, and innovative concepts. The event encourages exchange across disciplines, reflecting the American tradition of collaboration between art, technology, and entrepreneurship. Attendees discover new ideas, form networks, and explore partnerships that echo the entrepreneurial energy of U.S. creative hubs.

A humanitarian mission lies at the heart of the program. Proceeds from the charity section, workshops, and concerts will support the children of Zvečanska, embodying American values of civic responsibility and community service.

The workshop program features at least four artist-led sessions with curated curricula. Subtle references to American cultural symbols—such as jazz, abstract expressionism, and iconic design—will enrich the themes, offering space for interpretation and cross-cultural inspiration.

By combining a marketplace, workshops, performances, and philanthropy, the AfterLight Market delivers a dynamic experience that celebrates creativity and community engagement. It elevates local talent while proudly reflecting American excellence in cultural diplomacy, innovation, and social impact. Designed to spark connections and nurture growth, it demonstrates how creativity can unite people and strengthen communities.

This program will be in Serbian language.
