Discover how ideas become real-world objects in this hands-on 3D printing and digital design program. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will explore the exciting world of 3D modeling, engineering, design thinking, and digital fabrication while creating their own original projects and solving practical challenges.
From personalized products and mathematical designs to functional prototypes, structural engineering challenges, and data visualization, each session introduces a new creative problem that participants will solve using industry-standard digital design tools and 3D printing technology. Along the way, they will develop skills in critical thinking, spatial reasoning, creativity, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
Participants will learn how modern manufacturing technologies are used in fields such as engineering, product design, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, and scientific research. In line with current U.S. priorities to strengthen STEM education, advanced manufacturing, and workforce readiness, participants will gain hands-on experience with technologies that are increasingly important to innovation and economic competitiveness. The program encourages experimentation, teamwork, and innovation, providing young people with practical experience in technologies that are increasingly shaping the future of work and STEM careers.
The workshop series includes twenty project-based sessions covering topics such as 3D printing fundamentals, product design, biology and chemistry visualization, sustainable repair, engineering structures, moving mechanisms, wearable mathematical art, and creative design challenges. Each workshop combines demonstrations, guided design activities, prototype development, and presentations of participant solutions.
This program will be in Serbian.
