About the program:

3D FASHION: STARTUP LAB is an advanced educational workshop designed for young people eager to explore product design, fashion, 3D technologies, and entrepreneurship. Participants will develop their own fashion accessory idea, learning to model, produce, and present it independently—just as if they were launching a mini fashion startup.Guided by Ms. Maja Bogdanović Milinić (PhD Arts), the workshop draws inspiration from iconic symbols of the United States and creatively blends them with Serbian cultural elements. This approach highlights the values of innovation, diversity, and collaboration, encouraging participants to think globally while designing locally.

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, the program celebrates the enduring spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship that has shaped American culture. By connecting these values with local traditions, the workshop underscores the importance of cultural exchange and the shared pursuit of innovation across communities. The 3D-printed products may include practical items inspired by this transatlantic dialogue, symbolizing how design can embody both cultural heritage and forward-looking ideas. Beyond the creative process, participants will be encouraged to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset—considering how their designs can evolve into products with real market value and contribute to the growing creative economy.

Through this blend of design, technology, and cultural storytelling, 3D FASHION: STARTUP LAB not only equips young innovators with practical skills but also promotes U.S. values of creativity, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration, making it a meaningful contribution to the anniversary celebration.
